Thunder Hawk Slot Features

The main 5x3 gaming panel sits in a neat, wooden frame and awards regular wins along 20 pay lines. Each qualifying combination must contain at least 3 matching symbols and continue along adjacent reels, beginning from the leftmost one. Regular payouts range from 0.25 to 5 times the bet for hitting a win on royal icons, while the premium portraits of tribe members pay from 1 to 25 times. Wild, represented by a skull-shaped mask, substitutes for all standard symbols and awards up to 50 times the bet for a 5-of-a-kind line win.

Instant Prizes

Instant Win symbols appear as a golden hawk image. Landing them anywhere in view may secure a prize from the ladder if there are at least 3 present. Rewards range from 1 to 10,000 times the bet for scoring 12 instances simultaneously.

Thunder Hawk Free Spins

Landing Scatters on reels 2, 3, and 4 activates 10 free spins. During the bonus, one of three random features will be awarded on every spin:

• Multiplier - boosting the win amount by x2, x3, or x4.
• Extra Free Spins - awarding 1, 2, or 3 additional spins.
• Additional Thunderhawks - adding 1, 2, or 3 Instant Win symbols to the grid.

Super Free Spins

Every regular free spins round triggered adds one point to the collection meter. After the 7th activation, the Super Free Spins start automatically. This bonus is played on a 4x3 board and with 5 initial free spins. The goal is to gather as many Thunderhawk symbols on the board. Each one will stick to its place for the duration of the game, except for the ones awarded by the power-up reel. Once all spins are used, the corresponding prize will be awarded, and the progression meter will reset.

Bonus Buy

Players can buy instant access to both bonus rounds for fixed buy-ins of 50 x bet for regular free spins and 150 x bet for super free spins. Alternatively, the Golden Bet feature will increase the chances of triggering the bonuses for a 50% increase in the active stake.

Final Thoughts

Peter & Sons studio has proved on numerous occasions that they have impeccable taste when it comes to graphic design. Their games always boast a detailed and unique approach, and Thunder Hawk is another excellent testament to that. We rarely get to admire such a rich environment, filled with all sorts of objects relating to the theme. The game would probably look fine if there was just a rocky landscape in the backdrop, but populating the scene with so many consistent elements creates an instant connection with the subject matter.

The slot's technical side is a relatively typical configuration. Main gameplay taking place on one of the most common setups, a 10-step instant win ladder, and two types of simple bonuses are the types of elements used in many productions these days. Not to say they don't create a rigid composition capable of delivering a proper thrill here and there. It's just the kind of gameplay you can easily experience elsewhere if the Native American cartoony vibe is not your thing. Still, it's a solid combo if you're up for some instant wins, free spins, and a hold&win bonus.
