However, putting it so plainly doesn't do the game justice. That's because these are not your run-of-the-mill icons that simply turn into a matching outcome. They can do that too, of course, but offer much more in the form of various upgrades, be it affecting the regular symbols or the Mystery Coins capable of delivering substantial instant prizes. And that's not all, because you don't only hope to get those secretive icons on the initial drop but are guaranteed to spawn from 1 to 5 for every winning set. There's plenty on offer here from this core feature both in the base game and in two variants of the bonus round where Mystery Symbols persist on the grid until there are enough of them to trigger the feature. And despite the multitude of different modifiers, the gameplay is still easy to follow and entertaining to watch.
